Right then people, at last the time is approaching. 5 weeks today I will be running around Manchester like a bloody lunatic again. Thankfully this will be a sober lunatic as I am trying to raise some much need cash for Macmilan Cancer Support.
In 8 yrs of running (ish) in this fantastic event I have only raised money for charity once before. So this yr I thought why not do it again?
The reason I have chosen the Macmillan is because many a year back I got to witness what they could and would do for a family that Cancer had affected.
That was my family when my mam, Alma (RIP) got on the wrong side of it again after many yrs of remission.
So all that I ask of you is no matter how much you donate to this cause it will be well worth every penny.
Oh and for a PRIZE to the one who donates the most, they win my running shorts, complete with sweaty gusset!!!  ;-)
