I have decided to do the Great North Run 2011 for the Alzheimers Society as a family member suffered from this towards the end of her life.The symptoms include loss of memory, confusion and problems with speech and understanding. The Alzheimers Society is the leading UK care and research charity for people with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias, their families and carers.
