Story
**Thanks to all your generous donations we've received, we've hit our initial £1000 target which we are blown away by. To continue supporting our Stagehand and the phenomenal work they do we've decided to raise our target to £1500. Thank you to all who have donated so far.**
What a year it’s been. This time last year, we were oblivious to all the changes that were on their way – lockdowns, tiers, vaccines, the lot. But it turned out to be a challenging time for all of us here at Classic Pop and Vintage Rock, for the magazines themselves, and we’re sure for you as well.
A year ago, we needed your help to support our magazines and see us through the first lockdown – and we were incredibly grateful to see that you as an audience are as dedicated to us as we are to you. This time, we want to pay that help forward, and help a charity that is helping some of the people most affected by the ongoing lockdowns in the music community.
That’s why we are aiming to raise £1,000 for Stagehand to help live crew keep roofs over their heads and food on the table while gigs, tours, and festivals are closed down. Many crew are self-employed and have missed out on furlough or other schemes to support them. So we’d love you to help us give something back to the people who, behind the scenes, help give us such pleasure at live music events in every other year.
Of course, we know that not everyone is in a position to donate – and that’s totally fine. But if you love Classic Pop or Vintage Rock and love live music, then we hope you’ll help us in giving back. Please consider giving what you can to support the many sound crew, engineers, and roadies who have slipped through the gaps of Government support.

Please remember to donate now if you can. Thank you on behalf of Stagehand and everyone at Classic Pop and Vintage Rock
