We campaign to end men's violence against women

Story

I am tackling the Virtual London Marathon, the first time I have attempted this distance, on 3 October 2021.

The route is set! Saltaire to Skipton and back along the Leeds Liverpool canal.

As chief executive of White Ribbon UK I know how vital our work is in getting all men on board to change the cultures and behaviours that lead to, and excuse, violence against women. We need vital funds to ensure that we can raise awareness and get the message out that #AllMenCan play their part in stopping violence from happening before it starts.

This would be no easy challenge for me at the best of times and I broke my ankle at the beginning of June, but I am determined to finish!

Thank you for your support - Anthea

We work with men and boys to challenge harmful cultures that lead to harassment, abuse and violence. Our White Ribbon Ambassadors and Champions engage with men and boys to call out such behaviour among their peers and promote a culture of equality and respect.
