Story

A Foot in the Chilterns is an inclusive Nordic walking organisation operating in the Chilterns area of outstanding natural beauty. We strive to support local businesses and organisations using all the wonderful cafes, pubs, farm shops and more. Led by an occupational therapist, almost all can get benefit form walking with Nordic walking poles, given the right tuition to learn the technique. Nordic walking can be used by everyone from the very fit to those with mobility problems and people needing rehab. The walks can provide huge benefits to both physical and mental health ion a safe and supportive group or individually. To find out more see www.afootinthechilterns.co.uk and do feel free to get in touch

Jane Clark, Fiona Davis, Alison Ashworth, Rupert Osborn-Jones,

Clare Pacey, Gillian and Klaus Sichau, Linda Glithro, Hazel Pettit, Trish Young have all joined the team

We are supporting TVAA who are the most amazing organisation operating in the area in which we walk.

In 2021, TVAA were called out 2,880 times to help seriously injured or unwell people across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, and Oxfordshire. By bringing hospital-level drugs and procedures to the scene, our doctors and paramedics fight to give everyone the best chance of survival and recovery. By donating to my Mission 40 page, you're helping us to raise funds to ensure the Thames Valley Air Ambulance crew can take the hospital to the patient when every second counts. Thank you for your support!
