Macmillan and York Racecourse have partnered together for over 50 years now to help support people living with cancer through a number of activities that have raised millions of pounds.

Story

I have been lucky to help organise the Macmillan Ride of their Lives at York Racecourse since its inception, and have always been incredibly moved by the many heart breaking stories among the riders. They have raised an incredible amount of money over the years, and I feel it is my turn to test my nerve (if it is still there!) and my head for heights (if it ever was there!) and try to raise my own contribution to this fantastic charity.

We all have friends and family who have been affected by Cancer, and the help and support of the Macmillan Nurses makes such a difference to those suffering from this dreadful disease. In return for supporting my fundraising, I will happily (?!) jump out of a perfectly good airplane from 10,000 feet.
