I am eternally grateful that I have had a choice in this horrid lottery of breast cancer.  This is what little I can do for those people who don't have a choice, who haven't had a choice and in memory of those who have died so tragically leaving small children without a mum.

We had an amazing day and were lucky to be finished before the sun came out.  My time was 2h14 which I was very pleased with.  We had a fabulous welcome in the Hospice tent after the race and had the most wonderful, yet excruciating, leg massage from the superb volunteer physios. It was a lovely treat after quite an arduous 13.1 miles.  Still, more training next time and I'll sail it...
