As many of you may know, I never shy away from doing something for charity. This year I have been asked to take part in an expedition to ascent Jbel Toubkal (north Africa's highest peak) to raise money for orphans.

 

Some of you might be thinking what in the world possessed me to agree to this madness. Well i’ll tell you why, a recent report by UNICEF estimates there are between 143-210 million orphans worldwide. This figure is expected to increase due to the unrest in the Middle East and the recent draught that has gripped East Africa.

 

Every 15 SECONDS, another child becomes an AIDS orphan in Africa

Every DAY 5,760 more children become orphans

Every YEAR 2,102,400 more children become orphans (in Africa alone)

 

Every child has the right to be fed, clothed, sheltered, have a good education and have access to sufficient medical care.

 

I would like to help raise as much money as possible to help Human Appeal International continue the amazing work they do and I am grateful to all donations that are pledged.
