Throughout my life I have been lucky enough to enjoy learning and making lots of music. I love it so much, I've  made it my career to help others do the same.

In my work for Wiltshire Music Centre I have seen just how hard the impact of the last few months have been. Closing the Centre during lockdown has been devastating - both financially and for the thousands of people who come and enjoy music there every year. From students to audiences, young artists and volunteers.

After having watched on whilst my colleagues ran a 10K to support the Centre at the start of lockdown, I am proposing to do a 10K of my own to support WMC's Community Fundraising Appeal to help the Centre reopen and deliver important community projects and music education work in the Autumn.

I'll be taking to the pool in September to swim 10km, or 400 lengths, over the course of the month. 

To some, this might not sound that far, but having never been particularly sporty and even less fit since having my little girl last June, it's a pretty daunting challenge. I'd love your support! Thank you X
