Story
2016 is the year for my next big event and blimey is it a big one. I'm not going as far as China or Peru this time ... I'm cycling from the bottom to the top of the UK.
In June last year I took the plunge and bought myself a road bike having not ridden a bike since I spectacularly hospitalised myself nearly 20 years earlier. Over 6 months I covered 1000 miles. Now, I've agreed to cycle over 1000 miles in 10 days.
I've chosen to cycle from Lands End to John O'Groats to raise funds for the fantastic charity, Macmillan. Macmillan Cancer Support work for people with cancer and their families offering nursing, support, information and financial advice. Macmillan's ambition is that no one should face a cancer diagnosis alone. In 2014, they reached 5.4 million people affected by cancer.
