On April 6th 2014 I will be running the Brighton 2014 Marathon to raise money for Cancer Research UK. As with most, cancer has claimed the lives of people close to me - friends and family and I would like to do what I can to help fund their work.

This will be my first ever 26.2miles (40km) and I am very nervous and excited, and know it's something I need to do. Every penny of sponsorship makes each step easier and will help me so much to get to the finish line.

In 2013 I ran the Brighton Half Marathon in 2hrs and 3mins and am hoping to beat my time in the 2014 Half Marathon on Sunday 16th February - will update soon!
