Pet Blood Bank UK is the only charity that provides a canine blood bank service for all vets across the UK. Just like people, sick and injured animals may need blood transfusions and in many cases, blood transfusions can save a pet's life. Pet Blood Bank's products and services are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, ensuring that blood is accessible when it is needed most.

I'm running in memory of my daughter in law, Deb, who helped to set up this charity and who sadly died in 2011 from breast cancer.
My training has been difficult this year as I smashed my shoulder up last November and recovery has been a lot slower than I imagined (they joys of growing old!). However, I'm on track to be up to the 13 miles in time for the big day in September.
