Story
Just a small gesture for all the lovely patients and supporters I speak to everyday who are affected by this horrible disease. I’ve met and worked with some incredible people, who have been through the hardest of journeys. It's touching when I see their stories in the local media and I hope it brings them comfort and helps to give something back.
The run will be in my mum’s hometown of Manchester. She was so determined and is the reason I do what I do. She lived with a brain tumour for five years and in the last two months wasn’t able to walk or communicate. Throughout this time she was so strong and always put me and my sister Beth before her. Losing her was the hardest thing but it made me who I am and I hope I make her proud.
Many of you will know my story but if you want to learn more I will include a link to my mum's personal story below.
Thank you all for donating. I know it's not a massive challenge compared to what some of our supporters do but every penny helps <3
