Story
This June, Grace and I from Glasgow University Pole Dancing Club will be shaving our heads to raise money for our charity of the year Anthony Nolan, and to raise awareness about the life-saving work they do.
Anthony Nolan is an amazing charity that saves lives by matching willing stem cell or bone marrow donors to people with blood cancer and blood disorders who desperately need lifesaving transplants. They also conduct important research into stem cell matching and transplants to make sure every person in need gets the best possible treatment.
We will be donating the shaved hair to Little Princess Trust, who turn hair donations into wigs that are given free of charge to children and young adults who have lost their own hair due to cancer treatment and other illnesses.
Please give your support to these amazing charities by donating through this page, it would mean the world to me and most importantly to the people receiving your aid.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
I also highly encourage you to join the stem cell register if you are in the UK, it’s an easy process that you can do through this link, which has all the information on what it entails: https://www.anthonynolan.org/8-ways-you-could-save-life/donate-your-stem-cells
