We give support, information & advice to help anyone born with a heart condition

Story

Vicky, my sister in law was born in 1974 with a congenital heart condition. She battled this all her life but selflessly never complaining and always lived life to the full. She gave to others and despite her illness she went onto provide a happy home to her two daughters, whom she adopted six years ago with her husband Chris. The girls and Chris were her joys in life. She was the loveliest, most giving person who had endless patience with children, something that is a rarity these days. Even at the end we didn't realise how unwell she was because she never moaned or dwelled on her heart condition. I am running in the Royal Parks half marathon together with Seb and Ben, Vicky's brothers and my sister-in-law Sandra. We hope to raise vital funds for the Somerville Foundation in her memory.
