Story

Our amazing team of five will be running London Landmarks Half Marathon April 2023. It cost £3,029.50 a month to fund the 3 posts we support within a children's rehabililtation at Addenbrooke's hospital in Cambridge. 100% of all profits raised goes to supporting children with brain tumours. Joshua was 8 years old when he was diagnosed with a brain tumour, 2004. During early diagnosis, he had a lifesaving operation to fit a shunt, to control hydrocephalus (water on the brain) relieving the pressure on his brain. A further operation to remove the tumors was too dangerous and was not an option. He underwent four courses of chemotherapy. Devastatingly the results were unsuccessful, Joshua was tragically diagnosed as terminally ill. Joshua's battle continued for a further 8 years, which astounded his medical team. Joshua was always smiling and touching everyone that met him. He was so brave, family was everything to him as he was to them. Joshua lost his brave fight on April 29th 2012
