Hi.  I am the Activities Co-ordinator for SRSB and also Rotherham Sight and Sound, and since September 2021 I have been learning more about their work and the fantastic people they support. 

From the initial referral, emotional and practical support, advocacy, social engagement and an increasing variety of activities both in person and online, SRSB is there to help and make a difference.  The people I meet on a daily basis are amazing, and I want to do all I can for them.

I will be running / shuffling over 50 miles over two days, along the Cotswolds Way.  I did Race to the Castle 100km event last year and it was not easy - very poor weather leading to hypothermia on day one, then brilliant sunshine leading to sunburn and massive smiles on day 2!  I am 50 years old and not taking this casually - the training has already started and I know I need support to get me to the start line!

Race to the Castle was unfortunately cancelled by Threshold due to major storm damage on the route - so my entry is now transferred to the 2x 26 mile route ending up at the iconic Broadway tower.  I'm also recovering from Covid so we have not had the easiest time so far preparing for this -
