Story
This year I'm raising money for Ovarian Cancer Action, after recently visiting their reseach centre and seeing first hand where the money raised is so importantly used.
I lost my lovely mum to Ovarian cancer 8 years ago - aged 52. She would have been celebrating her 60th birthday this year. As the years go by without her it doesn't get any easier, we all miss her more and wish every day she was here with us. My Dad, brothers, sisters, nans, aunties, uncles, cousins, family and friends watched mum battle this horrible disease for 3 years, without ever letting it get her down, even in her final days she was so brave - an inspiration to us all. When she sadly lost her battle our world fell apart, she was the glue which held us all together. It breaks my heart that shes not met my children, that Harry & Millie will never meet their Nanny Sue. However, Mum will always live on in our hearts.
I am taking part in the Bath Half marathon this March to raise much needed money for the charity Ovarian Cancer Action to help with their research in treating and saving lives of patients with this disease.
Thank you for visiting my page - I am very grateful for your donation xxx
