Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My father died of cancer in September 2009 after a very short illness. During his illness he remained brave and considerate, placing his needs behind those of others. Macmillin nurses supported him during his illness and their sensitivity and kindness was wonderful. I want to raise money for Macmillan cancer support so other people can have the care they need during their illness.
Last year colleagues at work completed the Brighton Marathon and raised money for Macmillan and cancer research. I had just joined a running group and was running a maximum of 15 minutes; I wanted to do more and following encouragement from work colleagues (Bernardina) I signed up for the Brighton 2013 Marathon. The pain begins.............................
