Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I'm attempting to complete the Ealing Half Marathon again on 29th September.
I am not, never have been, nor will be a 'real 'runner, but this fantastic community event is a great day and helps raise funds for many charities.
I'm aiming to complete 13.1 miles slow run/walking - which I just about managed last year, believe me, it was tough. This year my aim is to complete the course slightly quicker if possible (but just completing it is still an achievement in my eyes).

Why this charity? A colleague when I worked at the BBC died as a result of this condition, and a dear friend's young son suffers from a particularly and severe form of it. Epilepsy comes in many forms and impacts on many different people. Epilepsy Action is the biggest charity in this area and can really make a difference.
Getting any sponsorship for the charity will give me that extra push and would be a real incentive to get me to that finish line when it seems so far away.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
I know times are hard and it sometimes feels as though everyone is doing something/ run/walk/climb etc for a charity but this is the first time I have asked...it's not a regular thing for me at all.
So please dig deep and help me finish this half marathon, which, at this point seems far too far for me! Any donation is much appreciated.
Many Thanks
Annemarie xx
