Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  I love cycling and enjoy participating in sportives and organised rides for the cameraderie as well as the chance to have a great route planned out for me (as i am hopeless with directions).  So many people do the things they love for sponsorship these days and there are so many worthy charities but my choice seemed an obvious one as i'll be taking for granted the drinks supplied on my ride.

I've decided to ride for Water Aid this year.  I've always enjoyed travelling and have visited many places around the world where people with a lot less than us are happily living a very simple life.  Every day we hear people complaining about late trains, cancelled hospital appointments, traffic jams and even the weather.  But imagine living without a tap and walking miles every day for a little dirty water!!! Clean water is a basic human need and yet thousands of people around the world are denied it.
