I was persuaded to get out of my 'comfort zone' this year and run the Windsor Half Marathon. (I have to admit that I have run it once before but it was 20 years ago!) I certainly haven't run a half marathon in the last 13 years ie since Danielle arrived! My usual runs are only 3-5 miles so this will be a real challenge for me now.

I became aware of Shooting Star CHASE through friends at Eli Lilly and thought it would be great to support this charity,along with the Lilly team and have a fantastic reason to ask my legs to keep going for 13 miles. CHASE supports families with children who have life-limiting illnesses.It must be just devastating to know your child has a terminal illness so I really admire the support that this organisation gives to these children.So I hope you feel that you can donate and make my run really worthwhile.
