3 years ago our friends Dave (Ecky), Elaine and their daughter Kristin tragically lost their son and brother. Rowan was 9 years old, the same age Douglas will be in a few weeks time.

I wanted to show my heart felt respect for the immense strength and courage the family show and for all their hard work they put into Rowan’s Trust.

Rowan was an amazing kid with huge sporting talent and a cheeky wee smile. His Memorial Trust has been set up to help support budding young athletes, just like himself.  I’m sure he would be very proud of the work his family and friends do for his trust.   

So the hard work is almost done – just the 26.2 miles to run on 26 May 2013!!

Thanks so much for supporting and encouraging me and for helping to support our next generation of sporting talent.
