Move for Mind : A tribute to Richard and a favour to your health

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In memory of Richard Boud, avid adventurer, lifelong Scout, renewable energy expert, much-loved father, husband, son, colleague and friend… and to me, awesome hiking buddy, I challenge you to ‘Move for Mind’. Walk, run, jog or hike 10,000 steps a day for 30 days, appreciating the great outdoors and raising funds for mind.org.uk. Do this with family, friends, colleagues and kids.
On the 21st May 2021, Richard died from peritoneal cancer, at the tragically young age of 49. Throughout his illness, he kept his spirits high and continued to nurture his love for adventure. Two discussions we had before he died were his thoughts on mental illness and cancer being equally hard to navigate and conquer and his firm belief in the strong connection between the gut and the mind.
Mind is a fantastic charity supporting mental health, which seems particularly fitting for the challenge, given the benefits of outdoor exercise for improving the mental health of us all.
