I am fundraising in memory of a special friend, Gary Addison.
Gary was diagnosed with Grade 4 Glioblastoma, a very aggressive form of Brain Cancer in July 2011. He went through a range of Chemotherapy & Radiotherapy treatments for 14 months.
Sadly, he lost his battle on Wednesday 6th February 2013.
He showed unbelievable strength, courage, positivity and dignity throughout.
“Katharine House Hospice was a god send for us. They made us feel part of a family and could not do enough for my dad, as well as my family. It's strange to say, but we have some amazing memories there, from Christmas day to my christening. We could not have kept going without the help and support from the nurses - and for that I will be forever grateful!’ Holly Addison, 22, Gary’s Daughter.
Katharine House Hospice costs millions of pounds a year to run, so please, please dig deep! They truly do the most amazing things to help so many patients and their families face the most painful times, and make the unbearable, bearable.
