Muddy Mummy's Mud Run 21/09/2014

Back 2 The Trenches · 23 June 2013 ·
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Unfortunately we lost our beloved Wayne Macfarlane on 30th April 2013, my husband and Daddy to our four amazing babies, Stephanie, Cameron, Harrison and Olivia-Lilly. Without him we are incomplete. Wayne was an amazing father, even home educating our babies. Our whole live has been turned upside down since losing him, and we will never fill the hole left.
I don't know how we've managed to get through this time, and we wouldn't have without the support provided to us by friends, and family, but also Winston's Wish, which is why when my dear friend Donna told me she was doing the Mud Run for them, I didn't hesitate to join her (well almost, as this is two of my least favourite things, MUD! (Which I don't do!) and running!)).
Winston's Wish are a charity that help bereaved children, and we took part in residential days with them earlier this year, which have helped immensely. They have given us valuable tools to help us on our new journey. We have also all met some lovely people. They rely on fundraising to keep them going. I cannot tell you how worthwhile this charity is.
I would be very grateful for any donations from 1p to whatever you may be able to afford.
Donna and I will be Mud Running this together (or perhaps fast walking, and trying our (my hardest) to avoid the Mud (yeah ok! This is what I am telling myself!) and it is a challenge we are both mad for doing, hence calling ourselves Muddy Mummy's, or actually perhaps it should be mad Muddy Mummy's!!
Thank you for reading this, and for your donations in advance.
