Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page raising money for the Lymphedema Research Fund, part of St. George's Hospital, Tooting.

We have set this page up in memory of my wonderful sister Fiona Stuteley who sadly passed away on Sunday 24th April. She battled many illnesses and her health was compromised throughout her life, but the diagnosis she battled really hard with was Lymphedema. She was under the specialist Lymphedema Clinic at St George's Hospital in London - but due to the lack of funding for the Clinic she was unable to be seen quickly, or be prioritised in her care, even when she was desperately ill. Lymphedema affected every part of her life, and in the last week of her life she ended up being house bound, which broke her heart.

She was extremely passionate about raising awareness for this clinic, and we believe she would want us to raise money in her memory for this hugely underfunded part of the NHS.
