Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  I am doing a mini triathlon over the weekend starting on Friday 13th with an hour or more swimming, an hour or more running on Saturday and an hour or more cycling on the Sunday.

Myself and my sister have spent time on Willow Ward over the years. We both have chronic health conditions. I am raising money for new equipment and toys to make a child's stay as comfortable as possible while on the ward. There is nothing like being distracted by how unwell you are by watching a film, playing on a game console or doing some painting or colouring.  I want to give back to the Willow Ward as a thank you for the care from the Play Nurses I have always received.

About the charity

Whether facing cancer, stroke, heart disease or have a sick child or baby, we want to provide the very best care. A variety of ground breaking equipment and treatments are now in place because of donations kindly made by the public, much more than our NHS budget can provide. Thank you
