Help 'break the cycle' of social isolation, reduce anxiety and depression and introduce the benefits of cycling to our communities. We need your support and donations to continue our vital work and to support people and make a better world by bike.

Story

I've been raising money for Cycling UK by taking part in three stages of the Cathedrals Cycle Route 'Relay challenge'. I was involved in setting up this new route, which links England's 42 Church of England cathedrals, and rode from Guildford to Chichester, Portsmouth, Winchester and Salisbury cathedrals in June 2021 and between Gloucester, Hereford and Worcester cathedrals in July - a total of 255 miles over five days. The full relay, starting on 30 May at Newcastle Cathedral, is visiting all the cathedrals over 42 days. The funds raised will help support Cycling UK's 'Break the Cycle' projects to help reduce anxiety, social isolation and depression and introduce the benefits of cycling to our communities, work that is especially important as we emerge from lockdown.
