I have chosen to compete in this years Stroud Half Marathon on Sunday 23rd October, this year being the events 40th anniversary and am very proud to be literally following in my Dad's footsteps, himself being a keen runner and a Stroud Half veteran! 

As you probably know both my Mum and Dad died of Cancer 3 and 12 years ago respectively. My Mum received unbelievable end of life care from the Longfield Hospice staff whom we could only describe as 'angels'. The way they go about their work compassionately and diligently is  second to none. For this reason I've chosen the Longfield Hospice as the charity I'd like to support.
