We fund long-term, sustainable research to find a cure for brain tumours

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am fundraising in memory of my daughter, Deborah Jane who passed away in March 2020 following a five and a half year battle with a brain tumour.    Together with my daughter and daughter in law, I will be taking part in The Brain Tumour Research Charity's 'Walk of Hope' on Saturday 26 September to remember Deb, and to help raise funds into vital research to help find a cure for this devastating disease.

Just 1% of the national research spend has been allocated brain tumour research, this is not enough!  More and more families will have to endure losing their loved ones as we have.

The Brain Tumour Research Charity receive no income from the Government, instead they rely entirely on funds raised by their supporters to help in their mission to build a network of experts in sustainable research at UK Centres of Excellence.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Please donate what you can to help find a cure for brain cancer.

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.
