Story
Working voluntarily in my spare time with young adults, I have noticed that since COVID19 and associated lockdowns, there appears to be a significant and obvious increase in social anxiety and low self-esteem.
I find it particularly sad that children and young adults can suffer from mental health issues, when these are meant to be the best days of their lives.
AS a result, I support the charity Mind, who fight to improve mental health, so that I can indirectly help those that may be suffering.
This time I'm taking part in Mind's Stadium Stair Climb at Stamford Bridge - the home of Chelsea Football Club.
The aim is to do as many laps around the stadium as possible in 90minutes, including multiple climbs up and down the west stand (if my knee plays up there may be an option for Dan to team tag and take over).
Donating is a great act of kindness and even small amounts to towards providing resources to support those that might be suffering.
I like to think that my actions can inspire you to donate and as a result improve the world in which children and young adults are growing up in.
Enjoy the journey - posts to follow - and thank you for your support.
