I have achieved one half of a long-held ambition in securing a place on the 2013 London Marathon. Now the hard work begins to fulfill the second half and actually complete it!

My lovely husband Tom is a total inspiration to me every day and along with our beautiful little girl gives me the motivation to take on such an ambitious challenge.

I am running in aid of a wonderful charity; Cystic Fibrosis Trust, which funds research into finding better treatment, and ultimately a cure, for this nasty illness. It also provides invaluable help, advice and support to both sufferers and their loved-ones.
