The heavens opened, and the wind blew, but I managed a PB on the day.  82mins for 10 miles, 84 mins for the course (which by the time I'd run round lots of slower people turned out to be 10.35 miles).  So pleased.  Never run that quickly before and thoroughly enjoyed it.  Was one of 20,000 and came in 481st out of all the female competitors so very proud of that too.  Definitely in the top 15% overall which is very respectable for a redhead!
