Angels for Mistreated Animals or AMA Animal Rescue is a Brooklyn based, no-kill animal shelter. In 2014 we received our 501(c)3 non-profit status. For the past few years we worked very hard to build a 1200sq ft animal shelter on Cropsey Avenue, Brooklyn NY. I can confidently say that AMA has completely changed my life. Rescuing animals and giving a living being a second chance at a happy and healthy life is a privilege far greater than anything i thought to be able to do in my lifetime. This year I will be participating in the marathon race myself and walking/running for abused and neglected pet companions everywhere until there is none left. Please contribute as every penny will go towards keeping our shelter running and serving as a safe haven for many unwanted cats and dogs.
