Story
In August of last year our best friend Lauren was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma, a form of blood cancer. After nearly 6 months of chemotherapy we are so excited and incredibly proud that she is now in remission! This is thanks to the amazing work of The Christie Hospital. They treat 44,000 cancer patients in the North every year, including our best friend, from diagnosis to ringing the bell! The Christie are dedicated to giving their patients the best treatment possible plus going above and beyond to look after so many in need and supporting their loved ones.
Lauren’s bravery and strength through it all has been inspiring. So, on the 19th May, 7 of us will be running 10k in the Great Manchester Run in aid of The Christie Hospital. We would be so grateful for donations of any size to help us raise money for this incredible organisation, so that The Christie can help even more people beat cancer.
