We raise awareness of cavernoma to improve the lives of people affected

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

Well, I did it!  Thank you so much for all your support.  Despite the icy wind I managed to finish in 1:34 and actually enjoyed it.  I also enjoyed several glasses of wine to celebrate, not just finishing, but also the fact that Finlay "Fighter" Freeman was discharged from hospital last week only days after his 4th operation to remove a Cavernoma from his brain-stem.  The doctors are amazed at his recovery, and his parents, Jen & John, are over the moon to have him home again.

As well as raising money for the Cavernoma Alliance I am also hoping to have raised some awareness of this condition.  Details are available at http://www.cavernoma.org.uk

I'd also like to thank Carrie Paul and everyone who sponsored her for raising a fantastic amount of £232, also by running the MK Half Marathon.  Well done matey.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cavernoma Alliance UK gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Thank you for your donation
