Endometriosis is a debilitating condition that currently affects an estimated 1 in 10 women. Please support us in March (Endometriosis Awareness Month) by fundraising in aid of the Excellence in Pelvic Pain and Endometriosis Care and Treatment Team.

Story

After finally having surgery in January to remove my endometriosis, we are taking part in March in March to fundraise for EXPPECT clinic in Edinburgh.

The staff at EXPPECT have honestly changed my life but it took me almost 20 years to get the surgery I needed, to the point that I lost my job as a result of prolonged time off sick as well as being unable to leave my house due to the chronic pain & exhaustion from endometriosis.

Endometriosis is seriously under funded. While awareness is growing, funding isn’t and we need to find better ways to diagnose and treat it so future generations don’t have to suffer the way I have.

March is Endometriosis Awareness Month and aims to increase awareness of this debilitating condition that currently affects an estimated 1 in 10 women. Please support my fundraising challenge by donating to EXPPECT today.
