In February I will be heading to Cambodia to volunteer with the VSO Cambodia Education Programme as part of the UK government's International Citizenship Service (ICS). The VSO programme aims to make education accessible for marginalised families overcoming cultural and economic barriers. I will be working in Mondulkiri, a province dealing with issues of poor health, hygiene and access to education,  threats to land ownership, and  loss of identity.

I will be helping to deliver life skill sessions to students at the local high school, whilst conducting research into career guidance and issues surrounding education in the local community.

Before I leave I have to raise £1500 to contribute to the ICS programme and VSO so they can continue to fight poverty and bring about positive and sustainable change in developing communities across the world.

I am privileged to be a part of this programme and am extremely grateful for all donations no matter how big or small!
