My Journey with cancer started in January of 2015 when i was diagnosed with bone cancer in my leg. By march i had to have my leg amputated above the knee . Thanks to my loving family and friends and a lot of support from teenage cancer trust at u.c.l.h i am still hear to share my story, for me and my family the care and support we Received from both teenage cancer trust and u.c.l.h was amazing .there was so much for us all i had the activity room mum and dad could stay at Paul’s house near MacMillan Centre London i always had mum or dad by my side on the ward i had lots of amazing friends visit me all the time too . My family and i always felt so protected and well cared for all i had to do was stay strong . The love and care we have had is what has got me through now i want to give something back to help others to have that same loving help and care i have had .
