So this year I thought I'd push myself again and have decided to take on my second half marathon, with the hope that I'll smash my last time. 

Normally I fundrasie for Cancer research, however Ive decided that as I will still be taking part in the race for life come the summer time, I will put my efforts into rasising money for another very worthy cause.

I have chosen to rasie money for water aid this time, a charity that helps hunderds and thousands of people desperately in need all around the world. It doesnt cross my mind that often how lucky I am to be able to simply turn on a top, and fresh clean water comes out, for many this isnt the case. 

Water has to be collected from miles away, where it isnt guarenteed to be clean or disease free, with the support of runners like me and generous donations from my friends and family, water aid continues to help as many people as posisible by proividing fresh, clean water to many of those in need. However there are still hundreds in need of our help and our money to survive on a daily basis. 

Please give generous and remember how lucky you are to have running water at the twist of a tap.
