We provide help and hope to everyone living with dementia.

Story

I am training and running the Amsterdam marathon with two goals in mind. Primarily and most importantly to raise money to help fund research into Alzheimer's disease- the most common cause of dementia. This will fuel my less significant secondary aim, of personally completing a marathon.

Having witnessed first hand the distress and confusion caused through suffers of the disease and the impact on their loved ones, it was a simple task to decide which charity to focus my energy on.I have also been involved in raising money for this charity before, however I would love to make a bigger impact now.

Everyone who has a brain is at risk from suffering from Alzheimer's and yet we do not currently have a cure. It is the only disease in the top 10 causes of death it is the only disease that cannot be slowed or stopped -YET. Please donate to help change this and change millions of people's futures.

It is such an important issue, and ever progressing.
