Story

As if I wrote this 2 years ago!?! Two years has flown by, but we think of Jim every day - we laugh, we cry and we still wonder how this ever really happened….

2020 will be remembered as ‘The Year of the Pandemic’ - but not for my family.

2020 was the year that Bowel Cancer swept in and took James from us. It all happened so quickly - he was diagnosed and gone within 8 months. How is that even possible?  I don’t think it should be and so I am raising money for Bowel Cancer UK so that they can do whatever they can to save lives.

I will be running because I miss my brother. I miss him as a husband and best friend to Indah, an unbelievably fab dad to Alice, an irritating sibling, a cool Uncle, an inspiring teacher, a loyal mate to soooo many and as an energetic, loving son to my Mum & Dad.

Running has been my therapy and has helped me cope. Now I will be running to help others.
