I was running the Great North Run for #TeamStroke!

I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer so my friend/colleague is running in my place, still raising money and awareness through this page!

There are over 1.3 million stroke survivors in the UK, with 100,000 strokes happening in the UK each year.  That's one stroke every five minutes.

Becca a close friend and colleague of myself and Jess suffered a stroke in her early 30s and is luckily a survivor! 

She was so calm and collected during what must have been the scariest moment of her life, especially when it happened in the middle of Kings Cross train station.

Stroke Association believes everyone deserves to live the best life they can after stroke. Your support will help them to provide vital services, campaign for better stroke care and fund research into preventative and rehabilitative treatments.
