Story
As someone who has undergone rehabilitation for a spinal injury and has a close friend currently undergoing rehabilitation after being partially paralysed from an accident, I have experienced first-hand the importance and the invaluable work that Livability does in helping all people with disabilities live a great life. I am extremely happy, grateful and fortunate to be able to run the London Marathon for them and raise money that will genuinely improve someone's life!
Livability is a disability charity that's committed to enabling children, young people and adults to live a life that adds up for them. What makes life livable is never down to just one thing - it's the sum of many things. From friendship to fun; from companionship to community; from thrill-seeking to thriving it all adds up to Livability. Through a wide range of disability care, special education, and rehabilitation services, they promote inclusion and well-being for all. Together, they work to see people take part, contribute and be valued. They put the elements in place that all add up to connected lives.
