Story
Every day, seven young people aged 13-24 hear the words “you have cancer”.
Be the reason no young person has to face the trauma of cancer alone by donating to the only charity dedicated to providing specialised nurses, youth workers and hospital units in the NHS so they have the necessary support throughout treatment and beyond.
I am delighted to be taking part in the student choose a challenge campaign where I'll have the opportunity to raise £3,990 for charity and trek to Machu Picchu in Late august. While reaching the summit will be an incredible journey, the main goal is to raise money and awareness for Teenage Cancer Trust.
This charity ensures young people have someone in their corner from the start as Without Teenage Cancer trusts support they can feel isolated, as they might never meet another person who can relate to them. Every £25 donation enables a one hour session with a youth support co-ordinator, who provides the support young people need for studies, relationships and their mental wellbeing throughout treatment and beyond
