Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My name's Anna Tierney and I run a global playreading group called Untold Stories High. Together we'll be hosting a series of online play readings during quarantine to raise money for Royal Trinity Hospice, London. Trinity Hospice is an end of life care facility, who need our help right now, more than ever. They took care of my father, Malcolm Tierney, while he battled with pulmonary fibrosis in 2014 and he was gifted the possibility of palliative care with dignity and compassion because of the hard work of the nurses, doctors and practitioners who work there.

If he were alive today, he would be one of the most vulnerable in our society and it's because of facilities like Trinity that those people are being looked after. Right now, Royal Trinity Hospice is not receiving it's usual income from their highstreet charity shops, from money that would have been raised at fundraising events, such as the London Marathon and they only receive a small portion of funding through the NHS. They need our help more than ever to give their amazing care during this difficult time.

Come join us with a glass of wine or a cup of tea and, if you can afford to, give a little donation to Royal Trinity Hospice through this page.

Our first reading will be Henrik Ibsens' An Enemy Of The people which will take place Sunday May 17th 7.30pm (U.K GMT) and 2.30pm (Toronto, Eastern Time). It will be a Transatlantic Reading with some incredible actors from Toronto and London.
