Flora London Marathon 2009 · 26 April 2009 ·

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page!

I'll be running the 2009 Flora London Marathon in a few months (the big day is 26th April 2009) and my training is now underway! So, I guess that means a lot of early starts (running before work - arrgh!), a rigorous training schedule and... erm... squeezing back into my running shorts. Oh dear...

But on the plus side, I have the opportunity to raise lots of money for Parkinson's Disease Society, which as many of you know is a charity very close to my heart, and I'm really happy to be fundraising for such a worthwhile cause. All money raised will go towards researching the cause, prevention and cure of Parkinson’s, as well as looking at ways to improve treatments and the lives of those with the condition.

So please do dig deep and thank you so much for any donation you can make to help me hit my target.

Anna xx

P.S. Thanks for everybody's support in making my March charity recital a success - we raised £1,632.50!!

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Parkinson's Disease Society gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
