We raise awareness & champion research to help PCD patients get the care they need
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I cannot train for another event without giving it an extra purpose. If you feel you would like to give me that extra motivation please feel free to show your support.
PCD is a rare genetic condition which primarily affects the lungs. People affected have faulty cilia which causes problems that are similar to Cystic Fibrosis. My friend's children have spent a lot of time in hospital receiving iv antibiotics and intensive physiotherapy. Every day of their lives they have to have physiotherapy to clear the secretions on their lungs.
Money you donate will be used by this small charity to help people living with the condition, improve treatment, help research and raise more awareness within the medical community.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
