I have just returned from climbing Ben Nevis in aid of the Alzheimer's Society and also in memory of Geoffrey Barker a dear uncle who died in December last year.

Money is needed not only for research into how to put a stop to this desperate disease, but also for helping those affected by it; the sufferers and their nearest and dearest, those who care for people struck down by Alzheimer's Disease.  The pressure on families is huge and not everyone gets the support they need at the time they need it.
